Mike's obsession with electronic dance music began back in 1999, the so-called 'Year of Trance'. Attending various dance parties, he has fond memories of Radio 1's shows on the beach in Brighton, in particular seeing Paul Oakenfold there in 2000 with thousands of other people.

At Warwick University, Mike started dabbling in mixing on his PC, using early versions of programs like Atomix. This wasn't enough, though, and he joined Get Decked; the University's DJ Society. Things really took off from then on, his first equipment purchase was in 2003 and consisted of 2 Numark TT200 turntables and a Numark mixer. Over the years this set up has been completely upgrade to now consist of Stanton turntables, Pioneer CDJ1000 CD decks and a Vestax PCV-275.

His taste in music has evolved, some would say matured! He now spins all forms of progressive dance music but the old trance influence is still evident, coming through in his melodic style where he endeavours to mix in key. Mike has experience of playing at various different venues in the UK and has appeared on a number of Internet radio stations.
